Beyond10K
A long table set for a private dinner

Beyond10k Entrepreneurship

10×1

10 people. 1 table.

A private entrepreneurship experience for athletes and coaches building what comes next.

Each 10×1 group brings ten people together through founder dinners, idea roundtables and shared experience, creating a table where ideas can be challenged, relationships can form and businesses can begin.

01Why it exists

Sport teaches youhow to compete.

It does not necessarily teach you how to build a company.

The transition into entrepreneurship can be difficult.

You may have discipline, ambition, networks and an idea, but still have very little context for what building a business actually looks like.

10×1 puts people at the beginning of that journey around a table with people who are already on it.

  • Not to deliver lectures.
  • To trade stories.
  • To challenge assumptions.
  • To help each other build.
02How 10×1 works

10

People × 1 table

Every 10×1 group is exactly ten people. Approximately six months. Three core experiences.

00

Founder Dinners

Private dinners with experienced entrepreneurs

00

Idea Roundtables

Bring an idea, the table challenges it

00

Closing Experience

A final dinner or showcase

04Founder Dinners

Four dinners.No lectures.

Private dinners with experienced entrepreneurs, hosted in some of Melbourne's most memorable dining rooms.

The format is conversational, not keynote. Guests sit at the table and talk about the parts of building that rarely make it into a talk.

Guests share

  • important decisions
  • mistakes
  • moments of uncertainty
  • lessons from growth
  • product-market fit
  • hiring
  • risk
  • relationships
  • capital
  • opportunity
  • what they would do differently

Not lectures. Not networking events. A table of people trading stories about building things.
05Idea Roundtables

Three roundtables.Bring an idea.Leave with a sharper one.

Members bring a business idea, concept, product or challenge to the group. Five short prompts frame it. Then the table gets to work.

The purpose is practical product and market insight, not applause.

  1. 01The ProblemWhat have you noticed?
  2. 02The IdeaWhat are you building?
  3. 03The CustomerWho cares?
  4. 04The ModelHow might it make money?
  5. 05The QuestionWhat do you need help thinking through?

Then the table challenges it

  • Why would someone buy this?
  • Who already solves this?
  • What would make someone switch?
  • What are you assuming is true?
  • What is the smallest version you could test?
  • Who could you sell it to tomorrow?
  • Where is the real value?
  • What would make this dramatically better?

What did I build?What did I learn?What changed?What am I doing next?

Each 10×1 closes with a final dinner or showcase. Every member answers four questions in front of the people who have followed their idea from the start.

It also marks entry into the 10×1 Alumni network.

The table getsstronger every year.

Completing 10×1 is not the end of the experience.

Members remain part of the 10×1 Alumni network and can return to future tables to contribute experience, feedback and connections.

As the network grows, each new 10×1 group gains access to more people who have already sat at the table.

How it works

  • 0110 current 10×1 members
  • 02Selected 10×1 Alumni invited to future Idea Roundtables
  • 03Alumni opt in based on interest and relevant experience
  • 04Beyond10k curates the room

Give back to the table.

Someone helped you think through your idea. Now you come back and help the next person.

Selected 10×1 Alumni can return to future idea roundtables to challenge ideas, share experience and support the next group.

09Ownership pathway

From the tableto ownership.

Join the table. Add value to the table. Help build the table.

Beyond10k is designed to become stronger as the community grows.

Selected 10×1 Alumni may eventually be invited to play a deeper role in shaping and building Beyond10k Entrepreneurship.

For a small number of people, that may include the opportunity to invest in and become an owner of the Entrepreneurship business.

Ownership is not guaranteed and is separate from participation in 10×1. It is intended for alumni who consistently contribute to the culture, community and future of Beyond10k Entrepreneurship.
